| Adult Faith Formation Team Purpose: To plan, publicize and implement adult learning experiences at Holy Cross which foster in the participants a living, conscious and active faith. Time commitment: Two or three 1½ hour meetings a year in the evening. Contact: Judy Pickel (631) 265-2200 ext. 16 Altar Linen Caretakers Purpose: To maintain altar linens and purificators in spotless condition for every Mass. Time commitment: Depends on number of volunteers. Purificators are cleaned weekly. Altar cloths are washed and ironed once per month. Contact: Bernice Buttner Altar Servers Purpose: Parish boys and girls who are in Grade 4 or above assist the celebrant at Sunday Mass Time commitment: Serve at 1 - 2 masses in a fifteen -week schedule. One training session with Fr Jim. May also serve at special Masses Contact: Phyliss Sangimino Baptism Preparation Team Purpose: A group of parents, with a member of the Pastoral Team, who help prepare new parents for the Baptism of their children. Time commitment: First Thursday of the month, 8:00 – 9:00 PM. Contact: Ray & Tina Paolantonio |
