Junior Lectors Time commitment: 2 or 3 Masses in a fifteen-week schedule. Preparation time at home varies. There is also an hour of training for all new lectors. Contact: Joe Recupero or Barbara Burger Justice & Peace Committee Purpose: Facilitates greater awareness of the social teachings of the Catholic Church, through prayer, education, and action on various issues. Time commitment: Four meets per year and occasional parish gatherings. Contact: Mary DellaVecchia or Margaret Bakos Lectors Purpose: Proclaim the Word by reading Scripture aloud at Sunday Mass. Time commitment: 2 or 3 Masses in a fifteen-week schedule. Preparation time at home varies. There is also a one-hour training session for all new lectors. Contact: Barbara Burger Liturgy Committee Purpose: Assists in planning Liturgical celebrations and in decorating the Worship Area for all the seasons of the Church year. Environment subcommitte assist in decorating. Time commitment: Meets once monthly in the evening. Several hours additional during the year for decorating and preparing for special Liturgies.
