Time & Talent
Senior Citizens Purpose: A social gathering for the seniors of the parish which includes prayer, refreshments, and games. Ill members are visited, cards and flowers are sent. Occasional trips are planned. Time commitment: Meet on the first and third Wednesday from 12 to 4 PM. Contact: Fred Confessoi Small Christian Communities Purpose: Groups of 8 - 12 people who meet at a member’s home to read and reflect on Scripture, pray, and discuss the meaning of Scripture in daily lives. Time commitment: Every 3 – 4 weeks, according to the group, for approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. There are morning and evening groups. Contact: Gene and Priscilla Manzo Spirituality Committee Purpose: To deepen the spiritual growth of the parish by organizing events such as Taize Prayer and the Sunset Mass. Time commitment: One monthly meeting. Contact: Steve and Mary Shipman; Tom and Santa Dunn Stewardship Committee Purpose: Fosters the return to God of our gifts of time, talent, and treasure by encouraging parishioners to commit themselves to the service of the community.
