Time & Talent
Ushers- Ministers of Welcome Purpose: To welcome those attending Sunday Liturgy, and to collect the offering. Time commitment: 4 or 5 Sundays in a fifteen-week schedule, or as needed. Contact: John Hanley Vacation Bible School Volunteers Purpose: To provide a 5 day summertime event for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5, which celebrates God's Love for them. Time commitment: 3 or 4 planning meetings, plus five days of VBS, usually in July, Monday – Friday, 9:45 AM – 1:15 PM. Contact: Mary Schulz (631) 265-2200 ext. 12 Women's Prayer Group Purpose: To provide an opportunity for women in the parish to meet regularly for prayer and sharing with Scripture. Time commitment: the second Saturday of every month from 9:30 -10:30 am Contact: Helen Farley or Mary Steffens Women’s Spirituality and Enrichment Purpose: Spiritual, emotional and physical enrichment of the women in our parish. Plan two or three special Women’s Days per year on a variety of topics. Open to all women of the parish. Time commitment: Monthly meetings for facilitators, usually on the first Saturday of the month for 2 – 2 ½ hours. Women’s Days are from 10:45 AM – 3:45 PM. Set up times vary according to the topic of the day. Contact: Carol Mazurek, Christina Loggia Youth Group (Life Teen) Purpose: To provide a place for the 9th to 12th Grade students of the parish to meet and grow in their faith.
