What is Parish Outreach
"Whenever men and women are to be found who are in want of food and drink, of clothing, of housing,
medicine, work, education, the means necessary for leading a truly human life, wherever there are
individuals racked by misfortune, illness, suffering in isolation or imprisonment, Christian charity should
go in search of them, find them out, comfort them with devout care and give them the help that will
relieve their needs."
This is what our Parish Outreach Program is about.  It is concerned with
providing support and service to anyone in need.  It reaches out to them to
minister compassionately, with sensitivity and confidentiality; hopefully
treating one another with the dignity that is entitled to each of us by our Lord
Jesus Christ.
Our food pantry serves well over 100 people each month.  In addition to donations
of food, we are in need of supermarket gift cards which can be given to purchase
perishable items such as milk and meat.
